Education Committee Judges Project Books and Makes Plans for Ferndale Meeting

March 24, 2013

On February 14th, the Education Committee met in Little Rock to judge the 83 Project Books entered this year.  This is the most entries we have had in the last several years.  Congratulations to Ozark District who sent in the most with 34 books, Delta District was second with 26 books and Ouachita District has 23 books.  Next year we’d like to see even more books entered and Delta and Ouachita Districts need to catch up to Ozark.  Make sure your county is represented.

Pictures below show the Education Committee and friends working on judging the project books.    We appreciate all their hard work in this and getting ready for the Ferndale Workshop on March 13th.  First picture:  Marnette Reed, Jo Ann Carr, Barbara Griffin, Barbara Jones and Marilyn Spence.   Second picture:  Cheryl Stewart, Lawana Stone, Barbara Stover, Barbara Boeh and Karen Bell-Fox.  Third picture:   Johnette Johnson, Education Committee Chairman.  Fourth picture:  David Jacobs, Dorothy Penix, Peggy Leger and Darlene Holliday.

Project Books are one way we bring attention to the wonderful community projects by our County EHC and our EHC Clubs.   Let’s all do our part in letting others read about these great projects.
